Celebrate Women's Day #BeBoldForChange #PowHERNetwork

International Women's Day, March 8, 2017, is a global call to action to help women and girls achieve their ambitions; challenge conscious and unconscious bias; call for gender-balanced leadership; value women and men's contributions equally; and create inclusive flexible cultures.

The day is dedicated to call on the masses to bring awareness to a more gender inclusive world.

Everyone can take action – big or small – to be part of this movement.

On March 8th please consider celebrating women and promote your support for bold action via social media channels with the hashtags #BeBoldForChange #PowHERNetwork.

PowHER Network will be celebrating International Women’s Day by showcasing women leaders throughout the week to highlight their contributions, success and triumphs.

In addition, we are helping to raise the media visibility of Embrace, directed by Body Image Activist Taryn Brumfitt. Taryn is the force behind the body image movement and through her powerful message of Embrace she is bringing global awareness and healing.

To support Taryn Brumfitt's mission, PowHER Network will be hosting a screening of Embrace on Thursday, April 20th at the Bow Tie Warner Theater in Ridgewood.

Please consider joining the celebration of women by taking your own bold action. Below are examples of actions to inspire you to support the campaign and help move women fast forward.
